Was there ever a repository of scripts posted that would assist a newbie in learning how to construct my own?

GraphiQL would be a bonus :)

There are sample custom scripts and reports in this repository: https://github.com/netbox-community/reports

However that doesn't contain anything which talks to GraphQL API (or REST API for that matter either).  Custom Scripts and reports use the Django ORM directly.
