netbox - identical name problem

Hello everyone, 

I'm new to netbox and need help. Recently I installed netbox V2.10.4 on Linux Ubuntu 20.04., my problem is that I cannot use identical names for patch panel and cable management on two racks at same site. I tried to  leave the name field empty, but then this annoying numbering is added to the device type model name at the end. How to remove the numbering or use identical names for patch panels and cable management ?

Names on Devices need to be unique within a site (originally they needed to be unique globally, but that has been relaxed).  I'm afraid you'll have to prefix each patch panel name with the rack name to make them distinct.
