What steps did you do to create the global topology map?

Aside: topology maps are likely to be removed soon.

Please give the URL to the page you read, and then we can explain it.

The dashboard already shows you the total number of sites, racks and devices you have (left-hand column, under "Organization" and "DCIM").   If you browse to a specific site, you'll see a "Stats" pane in the right-hand side which shows you the number of racks and devices in that site.

If you go to "Racks > Elevations" then you'll see a visual display of all your racks and the racked devices within them.  You can then filter this by site.

Topology maps are most likely being deprecated.

You have two options:

1. Build your own frontend to query Netbox and build the topology map for you
2. Build a export type to allow you to import into something like drawthe.net
