Hi
Our campus has multiple buildings and each with multiple floors. Under NetBox, I'm using SITES to represent buildings and LOCATIONS for floors. We have different set of Vlans on each floor. Is it possible to assign a Location (in addition to Site) for the Vlans?

What Netbox version are you using?  Netbox v2.11.0 introduced "scopes for VLAN groups"

Variable Scope Support for VLAN Groups (#5284)

In previous releases, VLAN groups could be assigned only to a site. To afford more flexibility in conveying the true scope of an L2 domain, a VLAN group can now be assigned to a region, site group (new in v2.11), site, location, or rack. VLANs assigned to a group will be available only to devices and virtual machines which exist within its scope.

For example, a VLAN within a group assigned to a location will be available only to devices assigned to that location (or one of its child locations), or to a rack within that locatio

Hi Brian
I'm a newbie running a fresh install 2.11.7. I did test out the "VLAN Groups" option, with the Scope type set to "DCIM > location". But once I assign the "VLAN Group" to an existing Vlan, (note that I'm forced to remove the Site assignment prior to this) the Vlan no longer appears in the Site Stats! So any query / summary information for the Site excludes all the Vlans that are moved/assigned to the "VLAN Group" :(
I would like to have the VLANs still grouped under the Site, but be able to filter it based on Location.

I could either (re)name the VLANs or update the Description field to include the Floor data, but both involves additional work :D
