Can you POST data to Netbox?

Hi All, 

I am aware there is no writeable API for Netbox at the moment, but is it possible to do this manually with the forms we see?

To automate the creation of devices and IP addresses would be a good start for us.

Any opinions would be welcome.

It's possible, but not very practical. You'd need to replicate the session cookie for authentication, as well as the CSRF token presented in each exchange.

A more preferable approach would be to utilize Django's built-in ORM from the shell to create or manipulate objects in bulk. I haven't gotten around to documenting any of this yet, unfortunately.
