Hi,

Unfortunately not many laptops support booting from media other than CD's and usb sticks.  I would suggest you try the CD method first and let us know the results.

Best,
Josh

A little more advanced way is to set up a server (DHCP, TFTP) in LAN and chainload the netbootme image.  You may find the following tutorial useful:

Good luck!

i am running on a memorystick pro 64 meg now. i installed via a live
linux distro and burnt the image fom the netboot.me site
(netbootme.usb) using the dd command in console. as it said there, dd
is a VERY poweful spell to cast and with one slight error you may wipe
all or any drives in your pc.

ps. if you burn using linux dd and it still wont boot even with the
correct bios settings, try the same card (which after the dd burns it
should be unreadable(but thats cool)) on a external cardreadr plugged
into the usb. if that works then you could do what im going to and
solder the card and reader inside your laptop/pc/whatever direct to a
usb port that is spare.
