Inthe example below, I used the same set of RAW HDR 360 photos to export a single merged RAW HDR 360 photo from Insta360 Studio, and a single merged RAW HDR 360 photo from Affinity Photo using the Best360 Virtual Tour Enhancer FX plugin. The Best360 workflow displays better dynamic range in the window region for a more pleasing result.

The Best360 Virtual Tour Enhancer FX has been improved to give you instant stunning results with a single click. Now you can reduce the effect of Chromatic Calibration by choosing the colours to remove using the 2 new Defringe Filters.

Make sure Affinity Photo / Affinity Photo 2 is installed. Download the Best360 Virtual Tour Enhancer FX. Double click the Best360 Virtual Tour Enhancer FX .afmacros file to install it. That's it. Youtube Tutorial Video. User guide.

Make sure Affinity Photo / Affinity Photo 2 is installed. Download the Best360 Virtual Tour Enhancer FX. Then please watch this short 30 second video tutorial or follow the user guide. Youtube Tutorial Video. User guide.

Yes. The Best360 Virtual Tour Enhancer FX is specifically designed to get the best dynamic range from HDR 360 photos using the workflow specified in the tutorial video above. The Best360 Virtual Tour Enhancer FX will not work with Standard Photo mode. You must use HDR Photo mode only.

A refund is strictly NOT possible for the following reasons:

"My camera is not compatible" - It is clear on the product page that the FX has a preset for the Insta360 ONE RS 1-INCH 360 and Insta360 X3 only.

"I downloaded the Best360 Virtual Tour Enhancer FX by accident" - This is a digital download and there is strictly no refund. Please read the product page thoroughly before purchasing.

"I changed my mind and I don't need the Best360 Virtual Tour Enhancer FX anymore" - This is a digital download and there is strictly no refund. Please read the product page thoroughly before purchasing.

"It's not working on my PC or Mac" - The Best360 Virtual Tour Enhancer FX is fully tested and working on PC and Mac. Please read the user guide for installation instructions.

"The Best360 Virtual Tour Enhancer FX is too slow" - This depends on your computer specs. If your computer is old then it will be slow. This is not a Best360 Virtual Tour Enhancer FX problem.

"The results don't look good" - The Best360 Virtual Tour Enhancer FX will give you a colour grade head start. The settings can be tweaked individually to adjust the result. Please read the user guide for colour grading instructions.

"My photo does not appear as a 360 photo on Facebook" - Please read the user guide to learn how to inject the 360 metadata for free into your 360 photo. This will allow you to upload your virtual tour photo to Facebook in 360 mode.

If issues still persist then please email Best360 screenshots of the issues your are experiencing.

The results from this plug in are fantastic....however I can't find the reference to this sentence on the page

"My photo does not appear as a 360 photo on Facebook" - Please read the user guide on this page to learn how to inject the 360 metadata for free into your 360 photo. This will allow you to upload your virtual tour photo to Facebook in 360 mode." Need a link to the instructions!

You no longer need an expensive subscription to Adobe software. This alone makes it a compelling option for anyone looking to optimize their budget without compromising on quality. No longer do I need to switch between multiple programs. Everything I require to enhance my virtual tours is now conveniently accessible within Affinity Photo, making the entire editing process smoother and more streamlined.

I am very new to using the Affinity photo software and photo editing in general so please excuse my ignorance. I recently started shooting virtual tours and have been experiencing the same issue with most of my indoor photos inside of buildings where the open windows have ended up with very bright and washed out highlights. I have experimented with HDR 9-step bracketing and have improved my shots considerably but the window sections of the pictures are still too washed out for my liking. Most of them end up with a blue hue to them and I would like to understand how to remove that blue hue and improve the exposure of the outside scenery through the window. I have included a few sample shots to help illustrate what I am trying to describe. I am using the Insta One X2 camera which does have its limitations but it is all that I can afford at the moment and just wanted to be able to make the shots it produces as good as possible for now until I can upgrade to a better camera.

Hi @VirtualTourNewbie22,

Welcome to Affinity Forums :)

Are you tone mapping the images when merging the bracketed shots (Tone map HDR image checkbox in the New HDR Merge dialog)? If so, in the tone mapping Persona when it finishes merging the shots, go to the Shadow&Highlights section and drag the slider to the left to recover some detail from the over exposed areas - don't go too far or the image will start looking unrealistic. If you are using the Tone map option you can switch to the Develop Persona (make sure you have the merged layer selected in the Layers panel, Basic tab, Shadows&Highlights section and do the same here. Depending on the images, you may have to balance it with the Exposure, Blackpoint etc until you find a good compromise. Without seeing the images it's difficult to give you specific advice.

You may also want to enable the clipping alarms in Develop Persona on the top right of the interface (the first three button group counting from right) to avoid clipping highlights (red colour), shadows (blue color) and tones (yellow colour) while adjusting the setting mentioned above.

I'm working with some new software for creating virtual tours - 3DVista. One of their features is the ability to create what they call "Live Panoramas," which is basically a time lapse 360 panorama. As an experiment I took photos from the same location at various times before, during, and after sunset. The way it works is that the panorama will gradually change from the panorama taken at the earliest time through 2 or 3 others until showing the panorama taken at the latest time. Here's a 23 second video demonstration.

For this to work the alignment of all of the panoramas used to make the Live Panorama needs to be perfect. I usually use PTGui for stitching, but for these Live Panoramas 3DVista suggests using their stitching program. For whatever reason (probably my fault for slight camera/tripod movement?) the stitched panoramas are not perfectly aligned. Close, but not perfect.

First I want to edit each photo individually to add a curve, some clarity, and a few other minor edits (which I know how to do) and then align them. I don't want to do any exposure blending, effects, or anything other than simply align them and then crop out or fill in any white space resulting from the alignment.

You could try the New Stack option in Photo and use the auto-align option to see what results that gives. If not ideal, if you could provide some sample images and a bit more info about your PS work, we should be able to come up with something that works
