Position: Senior Data Warehouse Data Modeler
Location: Columbus, OH
Duration: 6 month engagement

Senior Data Warehouse Data Modeling expert with at least 8+ years
experience working in enterprise data warehousing.
Candidates should possess strong relational 3NF and Dimensional data
modeling experience.
This candidate should have experience in designing/building effective
Data Warehouse/Business Intelligence solutions.

Responsibilities:
• Responsible for creating logical and physical data/analytical models
and metadata in collaboration with Business Analysts, Data Warehouse
Lead Developer and DBA’s in an iterative approach.
• Conduct Model reviews to explain how the model meets/exceeds the
Business Requirements/Use Cases
• Identifying and managing data quality issues
• Prepare key project documents and technical specifications

Skills / Competencies
• Experience with the design of large scale ETL solutions integrating
multiple source systems, must have experience with Unstructured Data.
• Exposure to ETL tools such as Informatica / PowerCenter,
PowerExchange CDC, PowerConnect for Web Services.
• Familiarity with Layered Data Architecture concepts
• Solid understanding of IBM DB2 V9.5 Infosphere DW/BI features.
• Must have experience in understanding dimensional data model key
structures to achieve optimal performance.
• Strong facilitation skills to engage subject matter experts to
define Data/Analytical requirements and conduct data modeling design
reviews with cross functional project teams
• Ability to communicate design solutions to both technical and non-
technical audiences
• Must be able to visualize, think and estimate effort to iteratively
develop data models in a timely manner that support Analytical
capabilities.
• Experience in developing data sharing standards and architecting
scalable service oriented solutions
• Excellent communication and analytical skills required
• Good interpersonal skills
• Focused, Self-directed and able to manage and prioritize multiple
concurrent projects
• Must be proficient in using entity relationship modeling tools such
as ERWIN
• Adheres to Data Architecture standards
• Understand how data is used as a Strategic Asset
• Experience with large Teradata implementations a plus
• Experience with MS Analysis Services a plus
• Experience with Business Objects XI R3 a plus
Must have Skill : enterprise data warehousing (EDW), 3NF ,Dimensional
data modeling, designing/building ,Data Warehouse/Business
Intelligence, Unstructured Data, Informatica / PowerCenter,
PowerExchange CDC, PowerConnect , IBM DB2 V9.5, Infosphere DW/BI,
