If you are on internet you
need an updated Version of Internet Browser, Updated version of Flash Player. If

1. Anti-Virus 
The first and utmost essential software that you should
install after the fresh windows installation is any good Anti-Virus Program.
There are peoples who have to install Windows again and again due to viruses, or
their windows are corrupted soon after the fresh installation just because of
Viruses. There are various sources from where your PC can be infected with
Viruses! And the importance of Anti-Virus programs can not be denied. So do not
shut your PC and leave the installation of Anti-Virus program for tomorrow but
do it today.

2. VLC (Video Lan Codec)
VLC is a free and open source cross-platform multimedia player and framework that plays most multimedia files as well as DVD, Audio CD, VCD, and various streaming protocols.

This is also free software, which promises to play all media formats. Beside media player you can do more function with Mir, e.g. Convert Video/Audio to other formats, download torrents etc.

4. File Archive Utilities (Compress/de-compress Files) Utilities

These were the software that are unavoidable with Windows. There are some other software which are required by a PC user upon his need, and usage. And to carry out any function you can get lot of variety of different software (paid or free). I want share some of those which I prefer to install and use to carry out particular job.
7. Internet Browsers
Internet Explorer comes with the Windows Installation
but you can find different Internet Browser on net to download and use.
Such as Google’s Chrome, Mozilla Firefox, Opera, and Apple’s Safari etc all of the browsers are completely free. Each browser comes with different features, claims to be faster than others, and provides many different functions to ease an Internet User.
It is up to you which browser you like most. I use Chrome at home and Firefox at office.
