Job Title: Infrastructure Architect

Job Travel Location(s): 50 % to Alpharetta, GA and Glastonbury, CT

Job Responsibilities:

·  Lead architecture activities for new product and technology initiatives, including architecture of applications, integration, data, infrastructure, and security, while ensuring alignment with the Architecture Roadmap with business objectives.

·  Provide technical leadership for Data Center migrations, platform upgrades, and scalability and DR redesigns.

·  Provide general Business Unit technology oversight of large technology infrastructure upgrade program with various individual projects for multiple business applications.

·  Assist business and infrastructure teams in assessing upgrade impacts and provide recommendations that align with program objectives, data center standards, and application strategic direction.

·  Assist business and infrastructure Project Managers to find BU application owners

·  Collaborate with Business Analysts and infrastructure teams to analyze and document current state for applications (infrastructure, connectivity, user authentication - many old, internally developed, undocumented applications)

·  Assist in aligning and driving infrastructure teams and Application Owners to design end states for applications that meet compliance standards as well as program timelines.

·  Lead technology transformation efforts

 

Skills and Experience Required:

Required Skills:

·  10+ years of progressive IT background

·  5+ years of infrastructure architecture experience

·  3+ years technology leadership experience

·  Data center migration and consolidation experience

·  Outstanding communication skills

Desired Skills:

·  Experience within the financial services industry

·  Consulting experience
