In light of the fact that a major network is "devoting an
entire evening" concerning the Sexual Revolution, I think it
appropriate to quote from an essay by Kurt Vonnegut, Jr.:

I simplify but do not entirely misrepresent that
supposed revolution if I describe it in this
way: Wheras the ideal women in olden times might
have given a dusty male wayfarer on the road of life
a piece of pie - a modern women may now give him a
hand job or a blow job as well.

I am sorry, but that is how I read it. [Kurt Vonnegut, Jr.
_Palm Sunday_, p. 318]

Though rather myopic and male biased, I got a chuckle.
Any comments?

I like Kurt Vonnegut, so I have to assume he meant that as a condemnation
of the restricted nature of the average person's conception of the sexual
revolution. Something about Harvey's presentation of the quotation does
not allow me to give him the same slack.

On the other hand, Where is my pie?
