I was just listening to my "Televisions's GREATEST HITS" album (it has
65 TV themes from the 50's and 60's) and 'Green Acres' played. I seem
to remember there would occasionally be an episode where Eddie Albert
would start talking about the American farmer, and as he would talk some
patriotic music would start playing... wouldn't the people start looking
around and at least one ask where that music was coming from?
