I will be vacationing in Colorado at the end of May/beginning
of June and would be interested in any tips for fun things to
do. I have been there several times before and we've already
done quite a few of the 'touristy' things. We've visited Pikes
Peak, Cripple Creek, Central City, and spent a lot of time near
Colorado Springs. We will be traveling by car. If any of you
have any suggestions I would be glad to here from you.
Two other questions:
Does anyone have any recommendations for nice one-day hikes
in the Rocky Mountain National Park?
Does anyone know if Independence Pass (I think it is Route 82)
is usually open by the end of May?
