day 6 ncaa tourney contest

Day six and the third round of the ncaa tourney is over.
The par for the day was picking two out of four(Kansas
and Duke) which most people did. Special acknowledgement
go to the two people who picked three of four.
seismo!umcp-cs!beth also went with NCstate.
tektronix!athena!neil also went with Navy.

I thought I was sitting good with all four of my semifinal
picks still alive in the tournament. Then I realized that a person
ahead of me in the standings had the very same picks as I did for
the rest of the way. In effect knocking me out of the race.
Oh well. It wouldn't have been nice of me to win anyway.

The contest continues to remain close. I anticipate it will remain so.
Though seeing everyone's remaining picks, I can make a good guess as
to the favorite. Interesting to note is that none of the top five
contestants have gone with Duke to even make it to the finals, much
less win it. This leaves plenty of potential to catch the leaders.
Note that this weekends fourth round games are worth four points each.
