Does anyone know of a public domain (or otherwise inexpensive) program
to track genealogical data? I would like to enter data for record-keeping
purposes and display/print the "family tree".

There is just such a program in an old (ca. 1978-80 or so)
_Creative_Computing_ called 'Gene' or something similar, check
your library.
