Fellow gamers-

Many of you post queries, bufixes, etc. to net.sources.games and also
perhaps cross-posted to another newsgroup (such as hack, rogue, empire,
etc.). With the newsgroup renaming, however, net.sources.games is
being combined with mod.sources.games into a new group comp.sources.games,
moderated by yours truly. The gateway machines are changing anything
destined for net.sources.games into comp.sources.games and filling up
my mailbox! (With duplicate copies, yet!!!) If you need to cross post,
there are newsgroups for discussions, help wanted, etc. Try:

comp.sources.d - for discussion of all sources
comp.sources.wanted - for requests of all sources
comp.sources.bugs - for bug reports/fixes of all sources

If it turns out that these groups become overloaded, perhaps a
subcatagory for games will be created. [The above groups also serve
comp.sources.unix and comp.sources.misc.]

In the interim, if get mail to comp.sources.games and it is:

1) cross posted to another group
I will ignore it or maybe do 2, 3 or 4 at my discretion

2) misc discussion
I will forward to comp.sources.d

3) sources requests
If it's in the comp.sources.games archive, I'll fulfill the
request, otherwise forward to comp.sources.wanted.

4) bug fixes/enhancements
If it's for sources in the archive I will save it and forward
a copy to the author (if they didn't get it), otherwise
I'll forward it to comp.sources.bugs.

As always, submissions of games sources are welcome and solicted.

[Question for the day: How many copies of this article will show up
in my mailbox over the next week? :-)]
