The one and only guru rainbow known throughout the land for his psychic
powers puts them to the test again. This time in an attempt to visualize
Chuq and win his contest. So, after intense concentration, the following
image appeared to me:

A white male in his mid 20's, say 25.
Less than average height, say 5'9".
Greater than average weight, say approaching 250 lbs.
Medium brown hair, straight, side part, just past the ears.
Pale complexion, no freckles.
Not very muscular.
No beard nor mustache.
Glasses, dark rimmed.

So there you have it. Chuq in person. Or did I see someone else?

That sounds more like Dick Dunn to me, except I put him at mid-thirties, beard,
mustache, dark brown hair, ruddy complexion (I see Dick Dunn as a burly guy).

Odd how different people think....I had always thought of Dick Dunn as tall,
thin, black hair, very clean-shaven. Not quite the archetype of the 1950's
engineer (longer hair than that), but with an appearance almost that stark.

Well, I concentrated, but the only image I could come up with is Dr. Smith
on mushrooms. Whoops, excuse me; I was looking in the mirror...

Hmmm...this is kind of fun. Now, what can I offer as a prize to the
winner? Perhaps a little Monopoly(R)-style card good for one non-flaming
the next time the winner posts something that hacks me off? I'd gladly
offer a few bottles of my best homebrew, but you'd have to come here to
pick it up; it doesn't travel well.

It's interesting to read these conjectures--particularly since the value of
the "beardedness" variable has changed within the last six months. If my
postings give an image of beardedness or non-beardedness, I wonder if
they've changed in character...how do you guys guess about the beard,
anyway?
