More Canopy Wierdness

After rereading the old notes and responses about the canopy
collapse,see "wierd canopy", I noticed that there is nothing in the
report about the brake setting she was flying at. If she was doing
an accuracy approach in deep brakes and attempting to sink the canopy
straight down that would explane the "wierdness". If she was in full
flight and happened too hit a thermal and flare at the same time she
could have crashed. If she flew into a dust devil, like the ones
that exist at Perris Valley, that would have caused it. Without
a complete report of the atmospheric conditions,location of incident,
and amount of brakes I find it difficult to speculate on the causes
of her accident.
