A Tribute To John


Peace can be defined as the absence of fear

No hate,no guns,no killing going on here

John Lennon had thoughts that many people shared

He said things that many had not dared

But its not enough to sing about peace

It won't cause hate,violence,and fear to cease



John is gone but you're still here

It's you that can end hatred,violence,and fear

They're the result of a misguided mind

So if you think good thoughts,you'll find

That peace and love will grow

And hatred,violence and fear will subside



It's you who decides what you will do

That you are your own guru

You are the shaper of your life

You could do great things

Or cause great strife



Can you 'Imagine' a world without John

I guess we'll have to,because he is gone

But not his thoughts,they continue on

Let your neighbors live and do their thing in peace

You do the same

And hatred,violence and fear will cease
