No I don't want to remember
I don't want to dream any more
to dig up old graves that had better be left untouched
old wounds my tardy hourglass has healed

Let me not see the scars
the dried stains of yesterday's tears
the traces of cactus dotting what was once an oasis
the scattered remains of unfinished meals

Ah to be the tomorrows
to shrug off the confusion, the pain
the panic of the past
Ah - to reaffirm reality.
