header mangling at ucla-cs?

I just noticed that I had two messages with the same contents which
had arrived via different paths, so I took a closer look. Here are
the two headers.

As you can see, the message-id was mangled somewhere along the line.
(ucla-cs is my suspect, for obvious reasons!) Anyone at ucla care to
