inews bothered by spool move?

I moved my news spool directory a bit the other day and now I've
noticed lots of messages from inews of the for "Cannot installer article
as ...". The frequency of the messages has gone down after a day or
so, but this could be just the ebb and flow of news.

I looked at the source for inews and it seems as though mylink() or
link() is failing for some reason. As far as I can tell, the dir perms
are all fine (nothing really changed).

The old path was:
/usr/spool/net/news --(symbolic link)--> /s/news

The new path is:
/usr/spool --(symbolic link)--> /s

Where /s is obvioulsy a file system.

Where did I go wrong?
