The word "traif" in Gremlins

I haven't been reading the articles on Gremlins since I just got to see the
movie last night, so forgive me if this has been mentioned before.

I'm sure many of you could here the English in what gizmo and the gremlins
were saying, but did you realize they were also talking Hebrew !!!
When the gremlin in the laboratory changed, he was trying out test tubes.
After the first one he said "traif" and threw it out. The Hebrew word "traif"
in English means non-kosher.
