The LA Times announced this Sunday that Lucasfilms has a deal with one of
the networks (I forget which) to produce two Saturday morning cartoon
series: one with the Ewoks (Gak!), one with C3PO and R2D2. I'd say that
debasing themselves this way is a fair indication that Lucas' interest in
the Star Wars saga is low.

My son gets Banta Tracks (sic?), the official fan club paper for the
Star Wars fan club. They announced the same thing and also said that
there would soon be another Ewok Adventure special on TV. I gather
that it hadn't been started yet at the time the paper was published
but I also got the impression that they would use some footage cut
from the first.
