TS1000 expansion keyboard

Would anyone out there in netland have experience with
expansion of the TS1000 keyboard?

I have at present a simple keypad wired up in paralell with
keyboard. The problem is that when I use it it for some
reason causes the CPU to recieve a halt instruction and
from then on not to respond. Any suggestions?

And also a note to the person who sent me the reply in
regards to TS1000 telecommunications back in December.
All I recieved on this end was the message header,could
you please resend your response.
