Clock DA, Control Panel settings, and Power Board Failure

This is an update to a previously posted news item regarding the failure
of my Mac to keep clock time and date settings, and control panel settings.
It seems a circuit failed on the power supply board. Repairs under Applecare
took one hour and resulted in the replacement of the entire board.
Troubleshooting took up 55 minutes. The rest of the time was devoted to
removing the back plate and replacing the board. Impressive!

For anyone who hasn't the inside of the cover, the design team's signatures
are engraved--a bit of Mactrivia for Macusers.
