Question for those using AT&T Starlan Network, or those familiar with
it: I know it uses modular cable for interconnection -

1. Does the cable have to be twisted conductors, or will the common
flat modular cable work?
2. If I don't plan to use the "closet star" configuration (I won't
also have telephone running on the same cables) can I use 6 con-
ductor or 4 conductor modular cables instead of 8 conductor?
3. If the answer to #1 is twisted conductors, are all the conductors
just twisted in a bundle, or in pairs? If in pairs, which pairs are
twisted together?

The real question is this - I'm going to have to temporarily wire an office
for Starlan for a couple months of use, and the easiest thing is to just
buy a spool of cable, run it down the hallways, cut it to size and crimp
some ends on it. What cable and ends do I need or can I get away with?
