I'm looking for a cheap PC clone; I've seen a lot advertised in the
$800-$1000 range, in varying speeds, qualities, and amounts-of-detail.
My primary concerns are reasonable compatibility, price, and speed, in
about that order, but I'd really like a >=6 Mhz model that can use an
8086, V20, or V30 instead of 8088. Are there any well-known lemons in
this price range I should avoid, or dealers I should avoid?

Alternatively, does anyone make an MS-DOS card for the Atari 520ST or
1040ST? Somehow a 68000 offers more promise than an 808*, and this
would be a good compromise.

Please mail any responses; I'll summarize and post.

Thanks;
