Cats and Parvo virus

this than I think is justified and wondered if someone here could back one
of us up with some facts or references. I though parvo only affected dogs
and wasn't a feline problem at all. Anyone know more?

There are a lot of parvoviruses out there. THe one that people get is
parvovirus B19. The one that dogs get is CPV (canine parvovirus). The one
that cats get is feline panleukopenia virus (also known as feline
distemper). The feline panleukopenia virus IS something to worry about
because it is associated with high rates of morbidity and mortality, but
it is almost never seen anymore in the US because it is included in the
standard vaccination series, in the "FVRCP" or "Distemper" vaccine.
