I'm getting rather frustrated at the include files we have for C++ (Version 1.1
-- the latest). It came with a shell script to modify the system so that it
ran on 4.2BSD. Now I find that many of the include files are just plain wrong.
The main offender is the include file "osfcn.h". If you include it in your
program, it will not compile due to a syntax error in the file itself. Many
of the system calls are also wrong. The file "sys/stat.h" has a stat structure
that is different from the one the C compiler uses, which is why I got a core
dump. AT&T say they will not be giving official support for C++ until version
3.0. 3.0? How long must I wait for that?

(Phew, I'm glad to get that off my chest.)
