[moo moo the cow]
i'm moo moo the cow
i eat lots of hay
i sit on the tracks
for most of the day
my milk is so good
it doesn't take long
for all little children
to grow big and strong
- author unknown (or won't admit it)

dexvax!mcnc!atb@ncsu and that's a fact
I never saw a purple cow
I hope I never see one
But from the milk we're drinking now
I'm sure that there must be one.

I've never seen a purple cow
I never hope to see one
But I can tell you anyhow
I'd rather see than be one
I've never seen a purple cow
I never hope to see one
But from the milk we're getting now
There certainly must be one
Ahhh yes, I wrote the purple cow
I'm sorry now I wrote it
But I can tell you anyhow
I'll kill you if you quote it

I would like to dispute the authorship of these cow poems.
It seems kind of strange to me to attribute them to Ogden
Nash when it was Gillette Burgess who wrote the book "The Purple
Cow and other Nonsense".
Yes I wrote the Purple Cow,
I'm sorry now I wrote it.
But I can tell you anyhow,
I'll kill you if you quote it!
