INSTRUCTIONS FOR THE USE OF

THE NEW DIAL
SYSTEM

The letters on the dial are sometimes confusing to the average layman.

The letter S on the dial is for South; the letter P is for Parkdale;
the letter O is for Operator.

Now if you want South Parkdale you put your finger in the S hole,
then put your finger in the P hole, if you don't get your party,
put your finger in the Operator's hole and move your finger
back and forth gently until the Operator comes.

Then you will be able to make connections provided you don't go off
until the Operator comes.
