Does anyone have any idea of what the odds are on getting a two-handed sword
before, say, level 12? Some approximate guess on how many games you have to
play to between such weapons would be fine. My experience seems to be on the
order of once every twenty or so. (once I had a game where I collected 5
longswords and two two-handed ones!)

Does anyone out there know the author and origin of a rogue-like
game called AD_D ?? It's similar to rogue in format, but it
has more monsters and allows you to equip yourself at the
beginning. It also has more bugs and is easy to cheat on
(although I haven't "won" yet, because I end up doing something
stupid usually).
