We have a machine sitting here doing nothing. How many people would
be interested in playing a nation-wide game of Empire? Perhaps the
best player from each facility (school, institute, research center,
technology center, lcm or hcm factor, whatever) could play?
You would have to foot the phone bills to Long Island, NY though. (At
least it's 300/1200 baud, not just 300). Please let me know if you
are interested asap. I was planning on starting this thing October 1.
This would allow ample time for people to log on and get the new INFO
pages they need, etc. (The version of Empire we would use would be
the one I discussed in the previous article. ALL BUGS FIXED (Yeah, right!),
well, at least all known bugs.)
