After over a week of staying up until the early hours of the morning
I now have a fully functional GNU emacs running under System V Release 2
on a 68000 based Dual Systems machine. I will be forwarding the diffs
in the next few days to the GNU emacs maintainers for inclusion in the
standard release.

If you have a UniSoft port of SVR2 you will be able to run GNU emacs
immediately. If you have only a SV (non R2) port you are out of luck
(what a great reason to upgrade! :-).

Before other SVR2 installations get too excited, be aware that UniSoft's
SVR2 UniPlus supports many BSD type features such as pty's and sockets.
You may be able to use my work as a basis to do a "vanilla" SVR2 port
but it won't be easy.
