Got out some old DesqView/X disks earlier today, and decided to try
installing/using it. (DV/X 1.0, with the LAN Workplace subset
and various bits to make it talk to the LAN)

It installed fine, but for some reason it refuses to see the Logitech
mouse driver (6.43). Which is moderately annoying, because although
DV/X is quite usable sans mouse, I end up with an unmovable pointer
sitting in an awkward position.

Oh, and while I'm at it - anyone know of a wm similar to dv/x's wm?
It's surprisingly usable.

That's not the Motify window manager they offered, is it?

I had that for a while. I gave it to someone who I don't think is really
using it, unfortunately...

Neat windowing system, though. Sure makes a 386 usable.

Not having ever used mwm, I couldn't say. But it isn't the
mwm that comes with their Motif kit (or the olwm from their
OpenLook kit).
