seeking poem & poet [red & white roses]

Oh the red rose is a falcon
and the white rose is a dove.
The red rose speaks of passion
And the white rose breaths of love.

So I give you a cream white rose bud
With a flush on the petal tips--
For the love that is purest and sweetest
Has a kiss of desire on the lips.

Sorry, I don't have the name of the author with me. On the other hand, I
do have a beautifuly dried cream white rose bud with a flush on its petal
tips (and I expect to keep it all my life).
