Has anyone ever tried taking astronomical photographs (deep sky or planets)
through a 100 mm aperture (4") 1000 or 1200 mm focal length telescope?
I realize f/10 is slow, but i'm primarily interested in using my Meade 2045
or Bausch and Lomb 4000 (or whatever I get) for traveling around and looking
through. However, I'd like the option or trying to capture a ring nebula
or something every now and then. Has anyone tried this? Can you get to focus?
Any comments at all would be very helpful. Thanks. Steve Schramm.
