I'm looking for a small (portable, not transportable) telescope.
Aperature is more important than magnification (no 2 1/2" lenses,
please). Something like the Edmond Scientific telescope with the 4 1/4"
mirror and red plastic tube... Price, under $200 (do I hear someone
saying I want everything? :-))
I hope this is going out to the USA only--my apologies if not, but Pnews
seems to do wierd things with newsgroups... I really wanted to restrict
it to the Pacific Northwest, but there doesn't seem to be any way to do
that (and I got no answer when I limited it to Seattle).

When you're up to your neck in alligators, it's hard to remember
that your initial objective was to drain the swamp.
