I saw a newspaper article about the ETA-10. It is supposedly
a multiprocessor (up to 10 CPUs) with CRAY-2 level performance
from each processor. It uses supercooled CMOS (cooling for
speed, CMOS for density - does this actually work?). The first
one (fewer than 10 processors) is going/gone to some Florida
university. (I thought Livermore or Los Alamos usually got
the first of anything interesting.)

I have a brochure that I believe FSU got in plans to
be the first to aquire the little beauty. I'll try and
dig it up.

well ........
