Oh all right, what did you want to talk about then ?
Dead fish? As a very little kid (four or so) I learned that orange flavored
vitamin C tablets don't help goldfish grow better.

Well, it was coughing up blood last night.
They would if you could get them to eat them instead of dropping
them in the tank.
There's a recipe for bulf fishfoor thats basically beeaf hearts
chopped up ni a blender, with geletin and vitamins added. Works
well.
Perfectly normal sir. Lovely plumage.

Thinking of which, I can't help but imagine a small child stuffing one of
those giant chalky orange-flavored vitamin C tablets down the gullet of a
tiny goldfish...

Indeed an frequently asked quesiton is "is it worthwhile to
build your own tanks" and the answer is "no".
What you'll find is the price of the materials is greater than the price
of a tank! Now, if you have a cheap source of quality glass or want
to build a custom tank out of plywood, it's not too difficult;
I've never done it. Enough people sell used tankls very cheap
that I've never bothered in 28 years.
