And if reading *.aquaria froups wasn't enough, there's also the strange
compulsion to be testing water all the time, pondering the esoteric
details of various kinds of lights, amassing styrofoam containers that
smell like live rock, frequently having a small container of sea monkeys
that seem to live longest in the fridge, and cracking jokes about how
we need better filtration for the house to handle the bioload the cats
put on it, or a skimmer of some kind for all the surface junk a toddler
can generate.

Anyway, the big problem as I see it with the USENET Classic aquaria
froups is that nobody in USENET Classic has any damn style anymore. All
the posts have excessive line lengths, no one can quote anything
properly anymore, everyone's posting in HTML, the usual annoyances. So
I figured I'd see if anyone was still reading net.aquaria.*.

So, anyone?

I tried for a while, but there was just too small of a signal to noise ratio.
Now, I've wandered off to a few mailing lists that work for me.
aqua...@listserv.cc.emory.edu, reefk...@athiel.com, and
aquatic...@actwin.com are serving as my fix now. The second and third
are majordomo, and the first is (of course) listserve.
