hi chris,and others,
bloody hell, it is 20.22 and i am just about to start unpacking a shipment,
why do we work such ridiculous hours.
MY FIRST SUGGESTION:
No one is going to listen to just the few who have bothered to respond to
these emails, all of us know at least 5 other shops very well, i would
suggest that before this really gets serious we all speak to 5 other shops (
like a chain letter but with no promises of millions of dollars for doing
it) and see if they are interested in joining this email list, if we can get
this list from a handfull to a serious amount then the more powerfull our
voice will be.
MY SECOND SUGGESTION:
buying group, great idea but how would it work, in fact i am sure chris will
remember 7 years ago on one of our many trips to dejong we had exactly the
same idea, the problem in this business is we for some reason do not
cooperate with each other it seems it literally is, i am alright jack and
f**k the rest of you. this has got too stop for anything of a co-operation
scenario between shops to stop.
MY THIRD SUGGESTION:
if the each shop speaking to 5 other friendly shops suggestion does happen
and they want to go on mailing list,then very quickly this email is going to
get out of hand and start to be very long, may i suggest that a forum such
as ultimatereef.co.uk is set up in fact forget that how many of us have
access to newsgroups if so may i suggest we hijack net.aquaria.marine for
future posts, this is only because it takes forever to set up a newsgroup
and also this newsgroup has only received 8 post in the last 6 months so is
almost dead anyway, it is only a suggestion but it may be easier
