Problems with SPICE 3A7

I recently obtained spice 3a7 for vax/vms and I am have problems with
%SYSTEM-F-ACCVIO, access violation. Many of the "decks" that worked with
the older version of spice bomb out in this version. Has anyone had a
similiar problem? Does the environment on the vax have to be set up a
certain way? Any insight into this problem would be appreciated.
