I purchased .NET Reactor a few days ago, downloaded the latest version
(4.4.0.0) and it hangs on my Vista machine. I sent details of the
issue to support a couple of times, plus reported a bug using their
bug report email, but have received no reply yet.

Is there a problem with the company?

I see from other messages that quick tech support may not be
forthcoming, so here are a few more details of the problem I'm having
in case anyone else has some ideas:

--------

I recently purchased a license for .NET Reactor. After downloading
and installing it, I try to run it and it crashes. I updated .NET
Framework 4, tired uninstalling and reinstalling and I still get the
same crash. Here is some information about the exception:

The type initializer for 'YiveqpocN29uq1MUP4J.LnyXB2otUjNIlUrAnZ7'
threw an exception.

Inner exception: {"Keyset does not exist\r\n"}

I supposed to there is a company. But there is no company. There is a
one person, name is Denis and not respond.
I call +491520-9461592.. Is that number correct for abroad calling? If
you reach to him, please let me know.. I guess that number is a cell
phone number.

I still have not been able to get version 4.4 to run without crashing
on Vista - and no response from support, either.

.NET Reactor 4.4 crashes on my Vista machine with the .NET 4.0
Framework (and VS 2010) installed. I have been able to get 4.4 to run
on another Vista machine that doesn't have the 4.0 Framework or
VS2010. I'm planning on installing 4.0 Framework on that machine to
see if it makes a difference.

BUT - since 4.4 is supposed to work with the 4.0 Framework, and I'm
getting no response from support - and no one else seems to have this
problem, I have lost confidence in this product.

SO - can anyone suggest a reliable alternative to .NET Reactor?

As I mentioned in another thread, I've been trialling Babel (http://
www.babelfor.net). The pricing is very competitive, and, importantly,
the support is first class.

Babel is just for obfuscation ... not license management.

any other suggestions ?

I've moved on to Infralution. It's was recommended on codeproject and
stackoverflow.
They have a licencing system and protection in two separate packages.
They also have a third package that handles paypal integration. But
most of all they have great support. They reply promptly to all my
queries and have an active forum.

Regards,
Paul
