Readline, termcap, ncurses

I am new user of NestedVM who is getting spoiled by being able to
compile all kind of libraries with little tweaking. I have a command
line application (grads, opengrads.org) which I've been able to build
under NestedVM without GNU readline support, but once you've used it
with readline there is no going back.

Has anybody been able to build ncurses/readline under NestedVM? The
included termios.h does not seem complete enough to build ncurses. Is
getting readline working under NestedVM with modest effort a resonable
expectation?
