apparently, 9 months since i arrive in iRO, delays is one of my problem(i can't use my pots properly) and i decided to not use pots in pvm to save some zennies since it is pretty costy, but i don't think it is a valid reason to have auto pots in PVM, since not all players have carpal syndrome.
So Im atm doing Auto on my 70/35 assassin which is spamming Sonic Blow all the time, Im experiencing issues with the mana tho, I keep running out of mana so he'll just auto attack all the time, is there anything I can do to enable him to drink potions while doing Auto? or any other tips on how to maintain some decent mana reg or something?
Stamina is a vital aspect of the game that is often neglected by most. It is primarily used in Life Skills which might appear boring but the benefits of utilizing these are quite magical given the significant stat boosts that they can add to a character. Although temporary, it can reduce the hunting time during grinds and it can also be a lifesaver when going MVP's or even in PVP battles. Usually, after completing the daily quests or spending my 80 commission tickets I opt to use my 1800 stamina points cooking dishes or brewing potions. It's very straightforward but the character should have ingredients before proceeding.
Path of Nature consists of both Foraging and Fishing. This is where a player would get their ingredients before proceeding to the actual crafting. Players to balance their time because all recipes for both dishes and potions required both foraged and fished ingredients.
Gathering ingredients can be done manually but it's more convenient if a player has Auto Fishing or Auto Hunting scrolls. This can be purchased from the diamond shop but there are a few other sources. One is from the Guild Head Quarters. Vinci the Charisma Baby daily gives random stuff to guild members and the scrolls are some of them. I'm not sure about the exact number but I did get 2x for both gathering scrolls. Also, I might have missed it out but I think I also saw an NPC selling fishing scrolls. It's a pity that I forgot where that NPC is located. I already tried using the obtain icon but it's still nowhere to be found. Anyways, scrolls are only sold for 5 diamonds. They are quite cheap for the convenience they offer.
After gathering the ingredients we proceed to crafting them. The location for crafting is the Eden Group's HQ located south of Prontera west gate. Cooking is done left side of the portal. At Cooking level 11 my character can cook all dishes but the success rate for all dishes is still only at 87% percent. Although it's not that I still to improve my chances but it would costs several millions of Eden coins so it's a no for now.
There are 9 dishes available but it doesn't mean that a player will have to cook for them. I suggest cooking the dishes that will benefit the character's job. I'm a hunter so I'd like to focus more on dishes that would increase DEX, AGI, ASPD and PATK. Steamed Crab Nippers might not fall in that category but in my opinion it's one of the most universal dish that can be helpful for any job so I always make sure to craft or produce a few of these. Potions costs several hundreds of thousands to a million so it's effect which can restore 250 HP and 50SP per 10 secs for 60 mins is a great way to save Eden coins.
Aside from Steamed Crab Nippers I also prefer cooking Caviar for +5 HIT and +5 FLEE, Basilac Clam for +5% ranged damage, Fresh Shrimp for +5% ASPD and Tuna Kebab for +3 CRIT and +4% CRIT DAMAGE.
The equipment for potion making is still located in the Eden Group's HQ. It's still in the right side but near the stairs. My potion making is still at level 8 and the success rate is only at 85%. It's decent but could have been better. Each potion crafted would add +5 to their corresponding stat. As a hunter I often brew DEX and AGI potions. I also wanted to brew some LUK potions but it still locked as I nee to be at level 11 to even attempt brewing one.
That's cool! Life skills, when well implemented, add a depth that makes the game world feel more alive. One game I enjoyed that had an incredible skill system was 'Mabinogi'. Although I detest 'auto-skill' mechanics in games, I found your explanation of the system to make sense considering the game type. Thanks for sharing!
True! It makes the game more exciting 'cause there are more options to do aside from the daily grind.
The old RO didn't have automatic options but after botting became prevalent they integrated most of the concept which is quite disappointing.

AFK farming is a method of farming in which players use automation tools to grind for resources and experience points without actively playing the game. This technique is popular among players who want to save time and avoid the tediousness of manual farming.
Ragnarok X Next Generation features an auto-combat system that allows players to automate combat sequences. You can activate this feature by clicking on the auto-combat button, which is located in the bottom right corner of the screen. You can also use the auto-potion feature to automatically use potions when your character's HP falls below a certain level.
All weapons and armor are unremarkable until you add certain combinations of auto-abilities. Think of each piece of equipment as a blank slate, devoid of any special powers. Unlike previous Final Fantasy games, the auto-abilities make the weapon, the weapon doesn't make the auto-abilities.
In the weapon and armor lists to follow, you'll see numbered names of weapons and armor, and auto-abilities associated with them. The higher a particular auto-ability combination is on the list, the more it dominates other auto-abilities. You can add any combination of auto-abilities you want to your equipment, but again, the highest auto-ability on the list will dominate the name and appearance of the equipment.
And now, an armor example: if you created an armor with the [Break MP Limit] auto-ability, which is #4 on the list, [MP Stroll], #21, [Lightning Eater], #46, and [Silenceproof], #57, what armor would you have? It would be the fourth armor, because the [Break MP Limit] auto-ability is highest on the list. In Tidus' case, the armor is called Emblem; in Auron's, it's the Dragon Lord; in Kimahri's, it's Shaman Armlet.
One final armor example: if you customized an armor with the [HP Stroll] and [MP Stroll] auto-abilities, which together are #17 on the list, as well as any other auto-abilities that are lower on the list (and therefore do not dominate the combination of [HP Stroll] and [MP Stroll]), you would have an "...of Hope" armor. In Yuna's case, it's the Ring of Hope; in Auron's, it's the Bracer of Hope; in Rikku's, it's the Targe of Hope, et cetera.
The best auto-ability for weapons is without a doubt [Break Damage Limit]. [Deathtouch], [Deathstrike], [Stonetouch], and [Stonestrike] are astoundingly helpful even up until the end of the game for a quick kill, although defeating a fiend with Death or Petrification does not count as an Overkill. [Piercing] is good against armored fiends early in the game, but you may find that once you get your Strength statistic past 100, or Auron learns Armor Break, it just wastes a valuable slot that could go to [Strength +x%].
A word on [Break MP Limit]: you may only find this useful for your mages until you've obtained a weapon with [One MP Cost] - Yuna's and Lulu's Celestial Weapons come already equipped with this. With every spell, skill, and special costing only one MP, and the fact that save points replenish your health and magic, you will probably find that [Break MP Limit] becomes merely decorative, and wastes a slot that could otherwise go to another defensive auto-ability.
Whenever the player dies and the Homunculus' HP is above 80%, it will automatically be Vaporized. Otherwise it will not vaporize and is able to continue to fight, and the player continues to receive Experience from Homunculus, but manual commands cannot be issued.
Homunculus S skills:
Revision [16797] does not have any Homunculus S abilities implemented yet, they are there just for awesome looks .
My quickfix in "Step 2 / Step 3" allows the AI to use pre-mutation abilities of [ Lif, Filir, Amistr, Vanilmirth ].
The Mirai_v1_2_2.rar file has a Readme.txt file that guides you through the whole ordeal of getting it ready to use.
For those who wish to check out the steps required before downloading / using it see the guide below.
If you have any questions about or problems with the AI, please post them in this thread.
Please let me know if it also works for other revisions .
------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------
Step 1:
- Preferably delete the folders before placing the files from the zip in the ragnarok folder ( Keep a backup just in case ).
- Replace the folders "AI" and "AI_sakray" with the files in the zip.
Step 2 (Only when using a Homunculus S):
- Go into "Ragnarok/AI/USER_AI" and open the file "Standard_Mod.lua" in notepad ( i use notepad++ ).
- Go into "Ragnarok/AI_sakray/USER_AI" and open the file "Standard_Mod.lua" in notepad ( i use notepad++ ).
This makes me happy. I will do this tonight and tell you how it goes. For a while now I have been dealing with the non-custom Homun... I got tired of that this weekend and was determined to see what the proposed fix was. Thank you for this. I used Mirai always until they broke it when renewal came out. (That whole auto-potion pitching thing that the GM's didn't like) I would like to get that working again for my private setup but, you know... baby steps LOL.
