Carbon Saving Community Obligation: Rural and Low Income Areas

In the attached document (page 5) it says;

For the purposes of the Electricity and Gas (Energy Company Obligation) Order 2012, “area of low income” means any of the areas described in each of the rows in the following table using either a “LSOA Name” descriptor or a “LSOA Code” descriptor.

What l need is a service that returns whether the LSOA code l provide is on the list given in the attached document on page 5 i.e. whether that area is considered low income - l know that the details in the attached document are derived from the ONS l just can't find from where...

I think you need the Indices of Deprivation 2010, please see

Thanks Frank - 

this is great as l can match the 'Rank of Index of Multiple Deprivation Score' to that list which is published in the document itself - is there not a web service though that pulls back the 'ranking'   as per the  'Rank of Index of Multiple Deprivation Score' column... l don't really want to store any data on our system if it exists on the ONS.
