Theproblem for us was that the TSC3 requires an update Software version for Trimble Access (TAS) on the TSC3. We were using a 2016 version. The R10-2 requires at least version 2017,21. For me, it was tricky to get the TSC3 to talk to Trimble Installation Manager (TIM on-line version) through Windows 10, since Windows Mobile Device Center is not supported on Windows 10.

4. I had to plug/un-plug the TSC3 with the USB cable into my laptop, and then relaunch TIM, a few times, before TIM recognized the TSC3. Also, at least my license on the TSC3 covered up to the last SW release in 2017. Future TAS versions I was told will not be supported on the TSC3.
