"SAMAHANG GAPAN'S" ANNUAL MAY FIESTA GET TOGETHER

On May 1, 2010, Samahang Gapan holds a pot luck-luncheon to celebrate
its 35th anniversary at West Long Branch Community Center in West Long
Branch, NJ (exit 105 of Garden State Parkway). The festivity starts at
12 noon. Members from as far as Boston and West Virginia are expected
to get-together for an afternoon of fun. Hector Magno, SG president
announces the line-up of events for that afternoon. A mass will be
celebrated by Father Alex Enriquez and Father Elmer Villamayor. The
Philippine Consulate General is expected to grace the event. Local
musicians and artists were invited to provide entertainment. A Chinese
contingent from New York City will demonstrate the Falun Gong
principles. DJ Jason de Jesus will make sure that everyone will get to
touch the dance floor.
